HOUSE OF THE WALKER All magical societies hold at their heart, a truth. A truth as expressed in the teachings, the rituals and the personalities of the membership. This truth is the beacon that pulses out into the unknown and (hopefully) acts as a draw, a call. Responding to this call are the Great Ones, the ancient and mighty teachers, who stand guardian over us. They wait with infinite patience, to find the group of souls with whom They resonate. And when They do, They respond to the call, with compassion, fervor and love. We have such a contact with us today, that works with the Inner membership. We are the House of the Walker. House of the Walker is the inner temple of Sosyete du Marche. Comprised of Initiates, this is a withdrawn collective, working in the old manner, to fulfill the manifest destiny handed down to them by their teacher, Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki. Their lineage stands thusly: Dion Fortune (Violet Firth) - Teacher, Occultist, author. Magus and founder of the Society of the Inner Light W.E. Butler, Initiated by Fortune. Bishop in the Gnostic Church of England. Founder of Servants of the Light, a Western Mystery school in England. Author of the Helios course with Gareth Knight. Dolores Ashcroft Nowicki, initiated by Butler. Teacher, occultist, Domina Templa and current Director of Studies for Servants of the Light Patricia Ashcroft-Scheu, initiated by Nowicki. Teacher, priest and current Director of Studies for House of the Walker, a daughter school of Servants of the Light. House of the Walker is founded on the principles of Truth and Knowledge. We express this as our Creed: This is a benevolent Universe, and you are a part of that benevolence. There is a single Creative Force (God) that brought the Universe into existence. You must never initiate harm to another human being. You must never harm the Universe of which you are a part. Diversity is the hallmark of the Creative Force's creation. There can be no discrimination. Heaven is "home" and Earth "the marketplace." There are two truths in the world - one inside you and one outside. Understanding the first (self-knowledge) In order to know where you are going, you must understand where you came from. It is your birthright to be happy, successful and loved. Character determines outcome. You select your Destiny. Knowledge provides a road map, not an end result. Balance, growth and wisdom are your goals. There is nothing to fear. Entry into House of the Walker can be done only through the Four Circles program and the Sosyete. We do not accept self initiations or initiations done by other organizations. Ours is a unique path, and to this end, we train each individual to the goals of the Sosyete and the House. It is for everyone - but not everyone is for us. All positive paths to the Divine are equal in our eyes. This is but one of them. |
