Vodou Pakets
Paket Kongo are clever little bundles of power, made from consecrated herbs and liquids. They are tied in seclusion of the djevo during the Kanzo cycle of Vodou. They can be made
for all kinds of purposes - luck, love, healing. Filled with consecrated herbs, special fluids and invocations, each paket is a tiny snap shot of a particular Lwa. The Lwa Ezili Dantor is connected magically to the tying of Pakets. And
of course, the Lwa Gran Bwa is the patron of all magical herbs and leaves, presiding as he does over the Pile Fey of the Kanzo cycle.
Pakets are also made as "pwens" or points, for good luck, for healing, for love - the list
is truly endless, as all the herbs of Gran Bwa forests can be employed for a myriad of uses. The beauty of the pakets come from their wrappings - silk and satin, beaded,
sequined and topped with feathers, each paket articulates, gestures and sends it's blessings out into the world for the user's benefit.
The Vodou Paket Kongo offered here are created with the same attention to detail as their Kanzo Kousins. Each paket begins as an orange size ball of herbs, oils, fluid and
magic. Wrapped in sequins, satin, ribbons and topped with feathers, they promote blessings, benevolence, excitement
and tranquility, according to their purpose. These pakets have been made in the correct manner, for specific working
and protection. They have been blessed and consecrated in ritual, and tied by the Lwa themselves in service. Place a fragrant paket in your space and see if the energy doesn't change.
