We are a family of servitors. Our work is with spirit, helping one another through the din and bang of daily life. But Spirit requests that we open the sosyete to others, so that all may share in the ashe of the Lwa. And so we offer here a select group of events that are part of the yearly round of engagements we pursue with the Lwa.
VISION QUEST WEEKEND (beginning Friday @7pm and concluding on Sunday am.)
 Herbs, the cornerstone of the Vodou faith, present a unique opportunity to engage with the energies of Spirit. Fresh, green, aromatic and powerful, they are subtle allies to help you deal with life’s turbulence. At the summer’s end, we gather our green allies from the herbal beds of the houmfort. We brew fresh hydrosols (herbal waters) and harvest precious essential oils. All of this material is then used to reach deep within ourselves, as the psychonauts take us deep into green territory. We create a feast featuring visionary herbal seasoning, drinks and desserts. Take the Vision Quest and see if what you seek isn’t deep within yourself.
LAVE TET WEEKEND (held whenever we are doing a fet. Begins in service on Saturday evening and concludes on Sunday am)
 Water, the purest energy on the planet, is enhanced and embrued with the power of herbs, through the action of Lave Tet (literally “head washing”), a time honored and deeply moving gesture of faith from the island of salvation in the Caribbean. With hydrosols and essential oils, perfumes and tinctures, we craft each bath to the individual taking the plunge. An overnight sleep in the temple, before the altars, gives you a chance to commune with the spirits in private. Come experience a Lave Tet of the Lwa and see what a difference a new beginning can make.
GODDESSES OF THE CARIBBEAN (Begins Saturday morning and ends Saturday evening)
 Mirrors are very important in Vodou. Every Lwa works through their reflection here on earth to lend their ashe or energy to us. The great feminine energy of the world is nowhere more potent and alive than in the Caribbean. Here, the Mother Gods share their wisdom and wonder through their sacred tools - mirrors. Come dance with LaSiren, Spirit of dreams and deep psychic abilities. Seek answers from the pool of Nanan Bukulu, the reclusive mother of the Spirits. Reveal your inner love goddess in the mirror of Erzulie Freda, sorceress of the Caribbean. Birth a new beginning in the energy of Ayizan, the mother of the mambos. Find yourself through the aegis of the Goddesses of the Caribbean.
We will be offering more events as time permits. But come seek what you will and find what you need. Siren is calling, and you will find her embrace all encompassing in the serene waters of her world.
